The World of Fuadain has always relied on valiant heroes to save it from the forces of evil. Time and time again, these paragons of bravery bring the world back from the brink and establish peace. But evil always returns, and this time is no different. A new group of heroes must rise to the challenge, but someone must guide them along their path. After all, the heroes of the world can’t be bothered with routes, money management, or basic food rationing can they? That’s where the Proxins come in, a family lineage of knowledge keepers whose sole purpose is to assist the heroes in their journey. Now this duty falls to Jounawali, the last surviving member. Unfortunately for her, these new heroes are far from those in the stories. More interested in bar fights and loot than saving the world, they’re more likely to destroy Fuadain before the forces of evil ever do. But a Proxin has never run away from the family duty and Jounawali doesn’t intend to be the first. She’ll get the heroes to do their duty, even if she has to beg, bribe, or trick them into doing so.
