Rhidi is a Kafya, an alien race of paw and snout that were aided by Humanity during a war that nearly consumed the Inner Dolcir Coalition. With her mother keen to see her married off and no longer in the military, Rhidi escapes to Earth in order to take part in a joint military training program so that the members of the IDC can prove they are just as powerful as Humans: What she learns, however, couldn't be farther from the truth.
