Ever since Kylar Coates lost his parents in a plane crash he has been living with his loving aunt Leah. Because of her work they had to keep moving all over the country but his life finally looks like it's slowing down. He joins Wellspring High, a private school in the picturesque town of Wellspring in the hopes of having a normal high school life - maybe even getting a girlfriend. The universe has other plans for him however, as he is thrown into a world he never knew existed, where nothing is what it seems. As Kylar tries to come to grips with his predicament a series of brutal murders and strange disappearances further threaten to destabilize his new life. Who or what is in the woods? And are they really targeting Kylar or has he finally lost his mind?   AN: This will be the first part of a longer series. This is my very first attempt at a real story and I'm very excited to start. Hopefully I learn as I continue to write and maybe even publish a finished version of this? I guess I'll find out if it's any good from the reviews. Hopefully you can take the time out to post your thoughts (anything you can think of really, go ahead and spam the comments!) and write some reviews. I'm from India but I've grown up speaking English so hopefully my grammar is fine (more or less). And I promise I don't use nearly as many parenthesis in my writing then I did writing this note.
