A high school student named Elise Lancaster discovers that she has developed psychosis due to the progression of her schizophrenia. After solving a cold case by a coincidental hallucination, she is regarded as a town hero. But after a series of traumatic incidents, her hallucinations become more frequent and overwhelming, causing her to carefully tread within the rift between delusion and reality.
