All The Young Punks is a story that begins inside the head of a teenager dealing with loss and trauma while channeling all his energy into one endeavor, to have a life in music. Rock & Roll is his sanctuary. Joe Theroux was once beaten down. Now he stands tall and defiant giving the middle finger to the system; school, religion, and the expectations of adults who don't share his vision. He's a troubled young man whose state of mind is not always clear even as he focuses and works tirelessly to achieve his dream.  Joe is a punk and what do punks do? They screw up. Punks is a story of family. You will live in the Theroux household. His loyalty and love for his sisters mold Joe into a decent young man despite his dark side and deep flaws. His family gave him all the tools he needed to succeed, except one... the ability to be happy. Even in his best moments, there's an underlying, lingering sadness.  Joe's mission begins in high school with a 1970s garage band. He takes them as far as he can. As he matures so does the content of this tale. Eventually, he meets a young woman who changes his life, more than once. All The Young Punks - Sons of Providence is the first of eight books in my Punks Universe that span more than two decades. This is the beginning of an epic Punk journey that traverses five continents. You cannot imagine it... but I could.
