After a cataclysmic world ending event, a strange radiation capable of bending the rules of nature was released, reanimating the dead. The reanimated corpses later on evolved and became intelligent.  They created a new world of magic and wonder, where the Revenants were the dominant species and had access to incredible powers and abilities.
