Hal becomes the first human trial of an installed microchip in the brain that links him to a quantum supercomputer. His brain is now capable of increased reaction times, parallel processing, and access to higher levels of information. He is transported to another world with magic. Watch his journey as he becomes the greatest mage in the history of this new world. After the great reckoning, magic faltered in the new world. It thrust humanity back to the stone Age to claw back. They returned to the middle ages but lost all ancient magical knowledge. Thus magic became much weaker than it was in the past. Hal must overcome this with his modern knowledge. Magic will be based in physics, and there will be a decent amount of technical knowledge pushed into the novel. I don't claim to know everything, but I like to do research and will try and get the subjects as precisely as I can. There likely will be a romance subplot, but won't overtake the story. A harem is unlikely but possible (albeit a minuscule chance). I am writing this story based on what I want to see. There will be wish fulfillment.
