Follow Hon of Lenfell, a historian by trade as he recounts the experiences he lived through when writing his previous book, a book on a figure in the world known only as the Black Knight, a legend in a world of myths and legends aplenty. This is a fantasy world with its own ruleset, its own gods, people, kingdoms and culture. The story is as much about the world as it is about its characters, but the reader will only know as much as the characters are willing to disclose. The story follows a conversation between two characters, as well as the power play of each side as they try to get what they want from each other. Their point of view is the most prominent one but not the only one, Interludes will shine a light into other sections of the world as well.One does not need to read the Prologue to jump into the story, it is merely a short appetizer that sets up the world and hints at a few of the plot points. The interludes are also not necessary, but far more relevant.
