So...Lots of people had speculations on how the world as we know it would end. Giant Asteroid, The sun expanding and swallowing up the earth or perhaps even in other ways like say a nuclear war, global warming or overpopulation. Well imagine their surprise when none of these happened.   The end came not by any expected means but by the sun's sudden disappearance. Shocking? How something like that happens? We do not know but what we do know is that we are well and truly screwed.   Oh...did I mention that cosmic radiation can have a lot of weird effects? Like mutating organic life and granting weird abilities? Fere wakes up one random morning to find his life changed forever. He was one of those affected by the radiation but not necessarily In a bad way...how?...well while some were mutilated by the radiation some also benefited from it. He's become one of those few whom, while blessed, are doomed to be hunted, by his (sort of) fellow humans, other lucky ones and the corrupted.   The corrupted as they are called although main, are only part of the problem with the darker sides of humanity coming out in what is quite literally its darkest hour. Also is that Jupiter in the background getting bigger or is it just closer?   This is a first story so I'm still trying to figure out my style, what works and what doesn't so any and all constructive criticism is very much appreciated.
