Aegis is a world of Magic, Classes, Levels, and The System. It is a world shared by five races, though originally only three called Aegis their home: The Vampires, Humans, and Lycanthropes. The Angels and Demons both came to Aegis later after what history deems the Calamity, in which their home world was either destroyed or pushed them out after the eternal conflict grew to be too much. Neither race will give the full details of how they ended up on Aegis, and since they've arrived their war has fizzled into more of an open hatred of each other will little in the way of active large scale conflict. Ziar is a young boy born to two Farmers and content with his life, but when his eighteenth birthday came instead of becoming a farmer like his parents as he had always expected, The System chose him as The Hero to stand up against a coming evil that threatens all of Aegis. This new threat comes into the form of a Corrupted System, twisted from its original purpose on its own world and seeking to corrupt and spread chaos to all the realms it touches. Now Zair must come to terms with his new role and find allies to help him combat the coming threat, stop an eternal war, and get all of Aegis to prepare for the danger ahead. Will he become The Hero that The System thinks he is? Or will he fall short of its lofty plans for him? Join Ziar as he trains with elite knights, finds allies in a world turn by war, and begins to walk a path true to himself through racial and class evolutions and the support of an outcast Vampire, an Idealistic Angel, a Demon who does not wish for war to continue, and a Werewolf Prince who rages against the rule of his father.
