For the duration of the Mars Retrograde, I am embarking on a writing project. The goal is one short story a day. They can be any length, but I am aiming for around 800 words. I am interested in experimenting with world-building and idea-generating in urban fantasy, but I am not holding myself to any hard limitations when it comes to genre. All the stories in this anthology are self-contained, though I might find over the course of the next 60-ish days that certain characters, rules, and settings will pop up in familiar and new forms. This is an evolving, exploratory process. I'd love any feedback in terms of what topics, characters, and stories are interesting to you. I'd also love any feedback on which writing skills I have that are working and what areas I can focus on improving (I am a big believer in consistently attacking weaknesses through systemized practices until they become strengths).  Above all, my goal here is exploring and iterating.
