Emrys leads an unremarkable life, working quietly in a small café, until a seemingly random accident changes everything. Struck by a falling flower pot that should have ended his life, Emrys instead encounters an abstract entity that thrusts him into another dimension known as the Abandoned World. In this surreal and perilous realm, Emrys discovers he has become a player in a deadly game where survival is anything but guaranteed. Each instance he faces presents tasks he must complete in order to earn a few more precious weeks of his peaceful life before the next instance. But there is more to these treacherous games than the players realize. Emrys must do more than survive; he must uncover why the Abandoned World is spiraling out of control before it merges completely with the human realm and endangers the entire world.  As he navigates the Abandoned World, Emrys grows stronger, forging alliances with others and encountering enemies that defy imagination. The stakes are higher than ever, and the line between reality and illusion blurs with every step he takes. Will Emrys manage to survive the trials of the Abandoned World and unravel its mysteries, or will he succumb to the dark forces threatening both realms? Note: This will be a long series with multiple arcs. Chapter updates will be sporadic because I don't write often, but I do like to share what I write.
