"Forward unto the path of dawn." A motto used by the old kings. The Central King, along with the Coastal, Mountainous, Plains, and Forest Kings were assassinated, leaving only two Kings left to reclaim what was lost on that fateful day. The King of the Snow, and the King of the Desert. The King of the Snow, a human, the forty fifth generation of Kings from the Whilhelm family, and the King of the Desert, a beastkin, the Seventh "Great King" of the beastkins, have long since had a rivalry between them, but not one to warrant a war between them.  Humans and Beastkin both dislike one another. Before the assassination of the other Kings, they never had a reason to fight. Now, the human King seeks to fill the "Abandoned Thrones" with those of his own family, while the Beastkin seek to balance the world out by having some of their kind gain the thrones.  Who killed the Kings? What will become of the ruler-less capitols? Will the world fall into ruin and war? Or rather will the kings feign ignorance of the information they may hold?  Follow Daviaer (Dav-E-air), a candidate beastkin and his closest friends, both humans and beaskin alike, search for these answers and the answers to questions they ask themselves along the way.
