Synopsis

Introduction It is said that men can change, though it is uncertain whether that also counts for beasts. Twin suns warm the surface of Yoradia, where four grand states vie for hegemony over the land, the sea and the skies. To the north, the snowy landscapes of the Polar Barbarian Union aim to paint Yoradia white and red with frost and blood. To the east, the Acuamori Federation eagerly await in their treetop fortresses to take back the lands taken from them. To the south, the Island States of Parizios terrorize the oceans to fund their growing fleet of warships and island palaces. And finally, to the west, the Empire of Yoradia calls upon their dread god of conquest and unity to bless their armies of destruction, so they may unite the continent under a single banner. Mikhail and Nebo, an unlikely duo, are thrust into this cruel world after having to flee from their own. Mikhail, a man plagued with a dark past, now has to fight for a son that isn't even his own, in an unfamiliar land. Nebo, a child found all alone in a frozen forest, must depend on a man whose motivations and ambitions are unclear. Two suns now cast their light on this land, but it is still unknown whether the light will bring prosperity or ruin. About my intentions In this story I'm trying to focus on character development and interactions, and developing a feel for what readers like and don't like about my writing. My intention is to write a dark fantasy story, but not one where all hope gets sucked out of your soul. Of course, the main purpose is to entertain, and I hope I'll achieve that at least! Release Schedule I will be posting every Wednesday and Sunday evening most likely, at 8PM EST to ensure quality and remain able to do my day job. When I have time left, I might post more inbetween. About me I'm a 29 year old dutch guy who's living in Greece at the moment. I've always loved reading ever since I was little, and around 3/4 months ago I started writing a bit more seriously myself. Which is strange, because I tend to not take things seriously, ever. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoy writing it, I'm looking forward to reading all of your opinions!
