Beneath the walls of Salwa, an oil-presser turned soldier fights for the glory of his guild, his king, and because fighting is the only thing which gives him purpose. In the manses and marble lined streets of Sagal, a high official schemes and plots to start a war he believes is necessary to save the kingdom, and which will line his own purse. Though they know it not, these two men are on a collision course, fate thrusting them upon a journey which will take them across the plains, dunes, and gleaming metropolises of northern India, their swords red in their hands and quivers empty, with the fate of three kingdoms hanging in the balance!
