Scott was your average college student. Well, he was shorter than average and admittedly less intelligent, and he had an uncanny knack for not instantly dying of blood poisoning considering how much he drank. One night, however, he shot himself in the face and died. But instead of being, you know, dead, he was sent to another dimension- specifically, a 1920s-30s like alternate reality where he is a Private Detective. And it’s a LitRPG universe. Mind crammed with two different sets of memories and his thought processes greatly altered, our protagonist quickly starts to panic. What was he doing here? Was he still himself? Why was he stupid enough to go get plastered in the middle of the goddamn woods?! How will he adjust? Especially with more and more strange cases popping up… What to expect: Dark Comedy, Noir, Corrupt government, Lovecraftian/Cosmic horror, Isekai deconstruction, LitRPG because why not, the works. And the title is overly long, as you can tell.  ABSOLUTELY NOT: Smut/anything overly sexual. It will likely feature references to the act, but I guarantee you won’t see anything remotely graphic. In the same vein, no harem. Romance elements? Sure, but it’s not going to be a focus. Harem? Nope. Not sure how that would even work in a horror noir. This’ll sure be something.
