At the moment of his death, Arata Eos, a human mage, former captain and last surviving member of his squadron that fought to resist the advances of the Legion finds himself face to face with a strange deity who claims he is of value to him. Offering him a chance at regression, Arata is transported back in time to his days as a student studying at the prestigious Lexion Academy of Magic. However despite the seemingly peaceful facade the world is putting on, threats and enemies lurk in the shadows, aiming at ruining Arata's attempt at a second chance.
