Forest, a child adrift, finds himself yearning for more on the sea locked land of Mayur. Born to nothing, surviving with odd jobs across his small town, he yearns for more. Only, to his terror and pleasure, his prayers and cries are heard by one eager to listen. Chosen by a powerful force, he learns in secret the path to greatness, one that will allow him to flee his miserable life and rise to the greatness that his weary heart desires.  Only a great darkness claws at him, inside and out, making his path murkier, endlessly treacherous and easily fallen off of. Will he rise, to the greatest of heights, or fall to the darkness of fate? (Sort of a retelling to the Little Mermaids)
