After turning 18 Malcolm brown left his adoptive family for the city to become a reporter hoping to make difference in the world, but unfortunately his life gets cut short. It's up to Malcolm to figure out whether he'll live the peaceful life he's longed for or fight for what's right.   Don't worry this novel isn't some major virtue signaling mess, I got the idea for this story after realizing that in most fantasy/isekai animanga the mc usually offhandedly mention that morally wrong systems exist in their new world, like slavery, speciesism against demi humans, and rotten nobles who abuse their power but really never do anything about it. So I decided a story where an MC actually tackles it would be interesting. There is romance but it wont be the focal point for a bit. Writers note: If you've read this before I suggest you reread it as I've gone back and redo every chapter that came out prior to August 2024.
