Arcurus, a God who was just created.

Arcurus was currently sitting in an endless void. There is nothing here, just it and it's own thoughts.
Arcurus begins to try creating something, anything at all.
Suddenly he had being, male-esque. He could get used to this.
Arcurus decides that he should make something more substantial.
he creates a world. A world he fills with people, places, and things.
Arcurus creates 5 sub-gods, they do not know of his existence, they only know that they are powerful and are meant to take care of different aspects of the world Arcurus created.
You create 5 sub-gods
Wartris, lord of water
Arstoris, lord of air
Lumions, lord of light
Embes, lord of fire
Granulus, lord of earth
he observed how well these 5 gods were at taking care of his world.
As you observe them, you see that the sub-gods are doing amazing jobs.
They rule over their chosen people in peace and harmony.
Unfortunately despite their efforts a large war begins between the different species and in attempt to stop this the 5 gods summoned 5 heroes (each god summoned 1) to end the war.
After many years the war ends and 2 of the heroes ascended into godhood, alas the power they gained corrupted them and the 2 former heroes become the 2 gods of destruction.
Arcurus from the background gave the 2 new gods, names. he decided to name the 2 gods:
Darkus, lord of dark magic
Necomus, lord of the dead
after this he slept for 50 years.
once he woke up he decided he should descend onto the surface of the world and enjoy what he has made.
Arcurus took a human form. black hair, black semi-trench coat, black shoes and eyes that look like the entire universe is contained within them
and Arcurus spawns.
Arcurus is in a forest.
The sun is at the top of the sky and it is fairly hot out.
He looks around to see if anyone or anything is around.
he sees a young fawn with a broken horn grazing on some leaves at the bottom of a tree.
He also sees a small hut nearby. He sees a man, who is fast asleep inside.

Arcurus walks to the hut.
He walks into the hut and sees a book laying on the ground. he picks up the book.
It's about magic.
Arcurus reads the book.
He finds that it is about how to perform different spells and how to use incantations and other forms of magic.
The book is written in a style that is both simple and engaging.
Arcurus reads more of the book.
The book contains many different spells for different purposes.
There are many different forms of magic.
There are many different types of spells.
There are many ways to channel different energies.
Arcurus reads about the ways to channel energies. It's very intriguing for some reason.
The man wakes up as Arcurus is reading.
"You're reading the book?" the man shouts. "it's a Grimoire! STOP reading it" the man shouts.
"I'm sorry, What?" Arcurus asks.
"You heard me, I don't want you reading more of that book!" the man shouts again.
"Why not?" Arcurus asks,
"Because...because...it's a terrible book, I read a little bit of it and I would rather not talk about it, please give me the book back!" the man continues frantically.
"What is it with you and this book?" Arcurus asks.
"It's my life's work" the man says catching his breath "every word you read will be destroyed and imprinted into your memory. if you kept reading the book would have been empty" the man says.
"What do you mean? It sounds fascinating" Arcurus asks.
Cooled down the man explains what the book is "It's a magic book that can teach anyone who can read, magic. the price of this is that it can only be used once. the information on there will be destroyed and the only copy that will ever exist will be imprinted onto the deep bowels your memory" The man explains.
"I don't understand, I mean what is the problem?" Arcurus asks.
"Well, many people can read, but only a few can actually cast spells effectively and make a strong incantation. so a book like this costs at least 5 greater platinum coins"
"Platinum Coins?" Arcurus smiles, "This man might be a good source of information for what has happened during that little power nap I had" he thinks to himself
"Well good news. none of the words are gone so it's basically untouched"
"you don't have to lie. The words are imprinted in your memory now."
"But none of them are gone. I'm not kidding"
The man looks at Arcurus and realizes that he is not lying "But that's not possible" The man says.
"how are you able to read the book without any magical equipment and not have it affected?"
Arcurus simply shrugs
