Maybe they led an organization that changed the course of the world forever with there accomplishments.  However their are some special figures all throughout history who did not care about things like this they are known all across the world for there unrivaled strength. Even in the grandline few people are actually worthy of the title of "the strongest in the world" but who is the strongest man in the grandline? Is it Edward Newgate also known as whitebeard? The man capable of destroying the world during there prime and the man closest to the one piece a man who never ran away from a battle even during the cataclysmic battle of marineford?  Is It Shimotsuki Ryuma? The world famous samurai from Wano a man whose swordsmanship was so strong they gained the title of sword god who was able too slay a dragon the greatest swordsman of all time?  Or is it the hero of the marines Monkey D. Garp the one marine capable of matching the pirate king Gol D. Rodger the pirate king? Or Is It Gol D. Rodger? The man who became king of the pirates and owner of the one piece? A man who once ruled the grandline with there unrivaled strength and wealth? If you think either of these people are the strongest you would be dead wrong.
