The world has ended. Dramatic climate change has altered the world in catastrophic ways. Around the equator, a giant desert reaches further than the eye can see. In the tempered areas, there are constant hurricanes and city-destroying water storms. What little civilization that still remains struggle to survive. Amongst all this chaos, Michael just wants to survive. He lives in the Great Desert that surrounds the equator and survives of what little food and water he can find.
