A Merchant's Kid, A Son, A Friend is a web novel blending supernatural with alternative history. Alternative, since I'll need some leeway for when I inevitably butcher the canon. You can expect a realistic character development and nuanced chains of events. The "magic" system will be hard and esoteric. This isn't a progression fantasy. The burn will be slow.  You will be following Arash Mehernosh, a privileged boy born in 612 AD into a mercantile, Zoroastrian household during the Sasanian Empire's zenith and the dawn of Islam. From his birth to his death, you'll witness Arash's journey in growing up, fighting other's wars, trading in far away civilizations, and journeying across the world and back. The first upload for this book will be a metaphorical prologue for the entire series. Updates are usually on the last Sunday of each Month around 8 PM (CEST DST UTC+2). Depending on the reception, I may make this biweekly. Your feedback will be invaluable for my improvement as an amateur writer.
