Synopsis
In this story souls go through a bureaucratic nightmare when they die, only to have the memories of this blocked away when they reincarnate; Souls get to live dozens of lives trying to earn points so that they can get benefits for their next cycle. The Admins of this pyramid scheme have released multiple balance patches over the course of history, things like gods, or other historical figures could have been paid actors in essence, given special bonuses all for the low-low price of knowing that if they could just throw points at you and have you fix the issue then why are points so rare? Why must souls go through dozens of lives getting miniscule amounts of points. Only for these hard earned points to be taxed for the pleasure of using the establishments systems. A soul finds a golden string of opportunity, it could join in and be a part of the next big balance patch. The soul latches onto this chance and starts a long journey against evil gods, necromancers, and being the only member of its species, as well as the first member.
