A koi fish evolves into a human and unlocks the game system of the world that allows him to level up and gain skills. The system however forces players to do quests and games with penalties that threaten their lives if not completed. As Korin navigates this game trying to keep himself and his companion players alive and well, he gradually uncovers fragments of memory of his past life, images of blood, and violence.
