This is a story based on a D&D campaign I have been running for over 10 years. This story takes the point of view of an NPC/DM Character before the start of the main campaign. I'm writing this to solidify her backstory and show how the events that drive the campaign get set in motion. The main character here is a young woman who was orphaned in the royal capital city of an Elven kingdom. The story is planned to contain political intrigue, Assassins, Gods, Devils, Demons, and a quest to reforge fate. The main character has to forge her own path, as it would seem the entire world is against her. What starts out as a grimdark tale of survival, soon turns into a Villain's, high-fantasy rampage to quench her thirst for power.
