Synopsis
Seth is a Lieutenant serving in the Khamaseen army. In his world, beings known as Apostles, gifted powers by the gods, rule over their respective realms. In return, the Apostles promise to use their powers to protect and provide prosperity to their people.
Many years have passed, and for the majority of it, they stayed true to their words. With every generation, the new Apostles took the torch from their forefathers, bringing about millennials of prosperity to men.
However, times have changed.
The Apostles bloodline has grown diluted over the generations; and so to have their gifts. Desperation began to set in as they realized that their seat on their thrones is no longer a guarantee. In paranoia, they resorted to violence and fear, undoing centuries of their ancestors' hard work
It is here where Seth began questioning his own duty as a soldier.
Was it to protect their brother-in arms? To keep the citizens safe? To carry out the Apostle’s wishes? Or was it It's just an excuse to commit atrocities.
After another mission involving massacring his own people, Lieutenant Seth had enough. No longer will he allow the Apostles to control them. No longer will men serve the Apostles. No longer will innocent people be slaughtered in the name of a fake god.
But in a world ruled by gods disguised as man, what can he do?
