Synopsis
Virtual reality exists, and it has generated a game, a giant world populated by strange cities of glass and magic, steel and blood, diamonds and starlight. A world where tyrants rule planets, and where swords, dragon's breath and knights meet star-ships, aliens and robots. The landscape ranges from the mundane to the crazy, from forests to unending plains of crimson glass.
We follow a mysterious player as he finds his way across this virtual reality game, under equally mysterious circumstances. What are his goals? His motivations? What is this world? Why is this intro so vague? All, or some, or more than, these questions may, or may not, or may partially be answered throughout the story.
A Game of Hedrons: A multi-threaded work of fiction, set in a giant universe where sci-fi and fantasy collide. The notes have enough content for a thick, complex plot, but who needs them, in the end? Who ever said this author was good at keeping on track? As readers, you can help me stay on track, or potentially completely derail the entire thing with an enticing enough suggestion.
warning: My writing is notorious for its suddenly, and potentially annoying, shifts in character point of view. I also can't promise a stable update schedule, although nagging me about them will probably be a huge help. Comments, critique, suggestions, ideas, typos, rage-quit notes, complements, hatemail, lovemail...etc. are always my best source of writing fuel.
