Synopsis
After two friends, Maris and Cody, career's take off in New York, Maris discovers a journal from a famous artist in a thrift store. The journal describes coordinates hidden within his artwork that's related to a Russian folklore. A train full of gold that went missing during the Russian Revolution.
Shortly after their trip through Scandinavia and Russia, Maris has gone missing and it's up to Special Agent Orla Meyer to piece together what happened. After interviewing Cody, Orla discovers that their treasure hunt is more than a thrilling pursuit of lost gold; it unearths complex layers of loyalty and resentment rooted deep in their past. Slowly exposing Maris' troubled but fiercely creative soul.
As Orla delves deeper into this mystery, she begins to see a side of Maris never known to the public. Driven by a hidden vendetta, Maris' quest for the gold soon becomes a means for revenge against a dark figure from her past, turning the adventure into a dangerous game of mistrust and survival. The investigation into Maris' disappearance forces Cody to confront questions about their friendship, loyalty, and his own complicity in her darkness.
