Synopsis
I suck at synopsis so... Here it goes, I guess
An old man has finally finished writing a journal that he has been keeping around for years; since his youth, he wrote this sort of guide of a fictional universe that he created himself. Through thick and thin, he pushed on with this project and, right when he was taking a long-deserved break from the evening spent on writing to smoke a cigarette on the balcony of his cheap apartment, the railing that held up for who knows how long decides to give in right at that moment. While falling, his last thoughts are only of regret and tinges of hope that one day someone finds that journal and enjoys it like he once wished for.
For many, this would be the end of the story, but due to his perseverance in this otherwise overlooked labor and journey, Death smiles upon him and grants him a lifelong wish that everyone can only dream of.
English is not my first language (and not even my second) but I don't care. I'm writing this to please myself.
Critiques are more than welcome, useless flaming is not if you don't like the premise, at least consider taking a look. If you still don't like it then there's little I can do, this might not be your cup of tea.
Inspirations: [The Administrator], The breath of creation (or RE: Deity, for older readers), World Keeper and Overseer. I strongly recommend you go check these novels out, they are all great and deserve a read more than my little "thing" (Especially "Overseer" and "The breath of creation", they are both amazingly done and at a level of writing I can only dream of achieving)
P.S.: This is my second attempt at writing a novel in general. I have tried with another novel (that I'm planning on re-writing later when I have much more experience) on this website and some others, but I haven't found much success (In fact, I'm very embarrassed by its quality). So if you find a novel titled "The legacy of keepers" (Not to be confused with "Maria The Wanted and The Legacy of The Keepers") by someone with my nickname, or something similar and it's dropped, then you have found my work.
