Michael remains as the last human alive after insectoid aliens known as Zuvilor kill every human across the Solar System. Shortly after achieving vengeance against them, Michael is summoned to the world of Familiar of Zero. Despite his summoner's attempts at controlling him, he will forge a new path for himself in this familiar, but alien world.
