Twins Sparrow and Dove are living in the frontier of the kingdom of Farrow high in the mountains, away from polite society. Sparrow is highly protective of his sister, especially since she’s among those unlucky few who are mageborn. Dove struggles to accept that her nature is dangerous and longs to be able to use her gift freely.
