Jale, a pilgrim on the road to the town of First begins her journey into a mysterious realm known as the Wilds from which there is no escape. Here the distinction between humanity and the maddening, twisted spirits of nature are blurred, where the only thing that might save you is the brutal and otherworldly horror which dwells at the heart of First. I have Dissociative Personality Disorder, and I really wanted to write a story which reflects how I experience the world, surreal, disorienting, and disconnected.
