Forced to make a deal with the Mother of Abyss to prevent his impending execution, Kaisellin finds himself venturing around the northern Kingdom of Vendalius in a tense race against their enemies—he must retrieve an ancient relic before the Draconem lays their hands on it.  No matter what, he must obey it to erase the mark of a traitor's son branded onto his very being, even if his body and psyche was severely crippled.
