Synopsis
Eva Mordred, the human empire's most talented soldier, was sent to die on the front lines as a child. An enemy vampire general found her, and after watching her throw her life away day after day from the enemy side, decided to spare and take her in. 7 years later, Eva, now a half-blood, gets sent away by that soldier to escape forseen doom. However, that backfired. Exploring a D&D like world, getting caught in inter-species politics, and her joining (essentially) a gay frathouse (adventurer's guild) during her college years, she's back with a passion to fight back against that foreseen calamity.
obligatory disclaimer²: large swaths of ideas are remixed and/or adapted from the WNs (untranslated) "i qui the hero's party" & "blood princess and knight". The former is awesome. It's a really good story of "mana as a science". And despite having the most generic name ever, it's anything but. Please give it a try. It reinvigorated my love for fantasy.
The ladder wn is bullshit. Do not read it. I am simply salvaging as many objectively interesting concepts before the dumpster fire burns itself to tar. Do not engage with it. (If you really wanna know, it's 20% interesting found family/identity dynamics with fantasy, 80% bullshit and wasted time. I regret reading it.)
im going at a pace of 100/words a day. that should have enough for a chapter every 1-2 weeks. don't quote me on that. im unreliable as fuck.
also the language used for "spirit speak" is just greek. if it aint broke don't fix it. im not making an entire conlang before i start writing.
also disclaimer³: not beta read. kinda, but not much and by anyone other than me.
