Evan Miller was a depressed college student who died in a tragic car accident; however, he was suddenly pulled from the afterlife and given a second chance in Verelia, a world of magic that shattered his notions of reality. When he woke up, he found himself in the middle of a battlefield with fireballs and magic soaring overhead. A strange group of people dressed in medieval armor saw and approached him. After conferring with them for a while he found out that this was not an unheard-of occurrence. He decided to make the best of his second chance when it was found he had some talent with magic. Follow Evans journey as he slowly adapts to this new and strange world wielding power he could only dream of before.
