Chance, chaos, life and death: all things bet upon a role of the dice.  When a God takes an unhealthy interest in fantasy and strategy games, the world that results is a little... Skewed? Reality teeters on a knife edge and mundane life wanders off to die in a hole. The God Augur, tired of his frantic chaotic, videogame logic fueled, world actually beginning calming down decides to recruit a group of heroes to act as rulers in his world gifted great power, abilites and skills. Edgar Ginnell is NOT one such person. The unfortunate bank manager is hit by a truck while the God is out recruiting his champions, which strikes the divine being as somwhat of a cruel joke and Augur decides to reincarnate the young man anyway.   This is the story of Edgar's life: a life ruled by chance and luck, a life that would one day come to be written in legend, though what it would say is yet to be decided.
