Persephone Graves, a mid twenties children's Lyre instructor from Cornwall, feels like she's stuck in a rut in life until she learns about a competition for a new Lyre Player needed for the mythos-inspired rock band, 10 Black Pomegranates  Though not a fan of the band herself, she enters after being badgered by her younger sister Melanie, and wins the opportunity of a lifetime! Soon Persephone finds herself in an all expensive paid trip to California, along with meeting all sorts of strange people who have named themselves after Gods and Goddesses from Greek Myth. Her expertise with a lyre is needed by the lead singer Hades, as 10 Black Pomegranates find themselves heading to a battle of the bands with The Fallen Chord, led by their former lyre player Orpheus, who plans to take control of the Greek Underworld once he defeats them. But as they find themselves spending more time together, will a strange love blossom between a normal human girl and a Greek Rockstar, is actually the same Greek God of Legend?
